I get asked many many times…… “How does your business do so well being a male boudoir photographer?” and ” Aren’t women uncomfortable with you taking their boudoir photos?” My only answer to this is, “I am a Professional Full Time Photographer and my gender should not be a factor, just like a doctor” and then I get lovely testimonials like the one below, from one of my many clients.

It wasn’t until recently when I became a single mom, that I made a choice. A choice to be happy, confident and accept myself for who I am. I wanted to celebrate this time in my life and I knew exactly where I would start, a boudoir photo shoot.
While searching for the perfect photographer, I stumbled across Bold N Sassy Boudoir by John Wills. I was a little nervous about a male photographer but there was something that made me reach out to him. The minute we talked on the phone, I felt at ease and knew that I had made the right decision. Leading up to the photo shoot, John offered advice on outfits and made sure I knew exactly what to expect that day. He made me feel comfortable and I was really excited to work with him for my very first photo shoot.
The day finally arrived and I was a little bit nervous but it didn’t last long. As I was getting my hair and make up done (which was phenomenal), John came by to check on me and answer any questions I had. The photo shoot itself was more than I had ever imagined. I felt beautiful, sexy, confident and at ease. It was incredible to just have fun and go with it. John knew exactly what he was doing and was extremely professional in every way. He took the time to listen to me, encourage me and offer suggestions to ensure the final outcome was everything I had hoped for. It was more.
When I came back to view the pictures, I was blown away. I couldn’t believe that was me. That I had hidden behind something for so long. This photo shoot was more than just getting a good photo but about finding myself and celebrating all that I have become. John captured all of that in a few hours. With these photos, I will always look back and be reminded of not only that turning point in my life, but also the day that I found my confidence and became me once again.” – Holly
